摘　　要：Dear Editor, Repetitive DNA sequences, particularly the tandem repeats, are known to modulate gene expression and cause structural or functional variability in genes （Usdin, 2008; Gemayei et al., 2010）. In addition to single-nucleotide polymorphisms and copy number variations, tandem repeat polymorphisms are increasingly recognized as another major dynamic source of genetic variability in health and disease （Hannan, 2olo）.
