摘　　要：1990年4月26日青海省共和与兴海县之间发生了一次主震震级为6.9的强烈地震,给国家的经济建设和人民的生命财产造成了巨大损失。文章首先介绍了这次地震的现场工作情况和值得注意的问题。然后概述了这次地震的震源参数、余震活动和地震类型;地震烈度;震前异常现象;历史地震活动和地质构造;震源地震断层面解;最后讨论了几个与地震成因有关的问题。A strong earthquake with main shock magnitude of 6.9 occurred between Gonghe and Xinghai of Qinghai province on April 26,1990.The earthquake incurred great losses to the national economic construction and the life and property of the peaple.First,the field working conditions and some problems merited attention durring the earthquakes are introduced.Then the paper overviews the focal parameters,aftershock activities and earth- quake type,seismic intensity,abnormal phenomena before the earthquake,historical seis- micities and geologic structure,as well as the focal fault-plane solution.Finally some problems related to earthquake causes are discussed.
