摘　　要：起源于美国的公共交通导向发展模式(TOD)在空间规划中具有可持续性和宜居性的实践意义。但基于美国城市发展背景的公共交通导向发展模式难以直接应用于中国实际。基于此,从密度、土地混合利用、步行环境等公共交通导向发展理念的主要设计要素着手,阐述了适用于中国城市现状的公共交通导向发展模式及其规划设计原则。Public transit oriented development （ TOD ） originated in the United States is of practical significance in sus- tainability and livability in spatial planning, but it cannot be di- rectly applied to the Chinese practice. So, from the perspective of density, mixed land -use, pedestrian environment and other elements of public transit oriented development concept, this es- say expounds the status of Chinese urban public transit oriented development mode and its design principles.
