摘　　要：基于SWOT分析法分析了包头市黄河湿地公园的独特优势:湿地面积广阔,河岸带建设尊重自然地貌特征,规划主题显明,优惠政策出台及时,保护、防洪与旅游开发并重,但也面临着湿地公园建设晚、湿地污染、退化等问题。在此基础上进一步分析了湿地发展战略,提出了黄河湿地保护措施。A SWOT analysis was conducted to reveal the advantages of the Yellow River Wetland Park （YRWP） of Baotou City： the vast area of wetlands, the natural topographical features along the riparian zone, distinct thematic plans, timely introduction of favorable policies, balanced priority on protection, flood control and tourism development. However, there also exist challenges including short period of development, wetland pollution and degradation. Thesc weaknesses and threats cannot be avoided. Strategies of wetland development and measures for protection of the YRWP were proposed.
