摘　　要：独立学院是民办本科高等教育的"孵化器",也是我国高等教育办学体制改革中产生的一种新模式,独立学院对公立高等教育投入不足问题起到了一定的缓解作用。与全国相比较,江苏省25所独立学院有其自身特点:设置早,发展情势良好;区域分布与母体高校具有同构性,近一半集聚于南京,近期有向周边迁散的趋势;初创期专业设置倾向综合性,近几年更加贴近市场需求;办学普遍选用"公有民办"而非"民有民办"模式。Independent college is the ＂incubator＂ of private undergraduate higher education, also is a new model of our country＆#39;s higher education system reform, the investment shortage problem of independent college for public higher education has played a certain relief function. Compared with the nation, 25 independent institutes of Jiangsu province have their own characteristics, such as set up early, good development situation, regional distribution has homogeneity with maternal universities, nearly half of them gathered in Nanjing, there has been a recent trend of moved around to spread, leading professional settings tend to be comprehensive, in recent years, more close to the market demand, schools generally choose the mode of ＂public-own and private-run＂ rather than ＂private-own and private-run＂.
