摘　　要：运用文献资料调研对英式橄榄球与英国文化进行研究。透过独特而丰富的英式橄榄球与英国文化的图景再现,回顾和整理英式橄榄球190年的发展历程,以及在不同阶段中所展现出来的重要类型与主题;揭示其与英国文化之间相互结合的细腻互动关系,解释其被赋予并传播的英国社会文化内涵、观念形态和价值体系。Through using the method of literature review, this paper makes analysis on rugby u- nion and British culture. According to unique and rich representation of rugby union under British cultural background, this paper reviewed the rugby development course in 190, and re- vealed important type and theme in different stages, and explicated its continuously replicating and dissemination of the culture in relating to its connotation, ideology and value system.
