花园意象与童话话语——老舍的南洋叙事及其意义

摘　　要：在《小坡的生日》中,借助童话话语,老舍将观光的好奇与浪漫的想象叠加在一起,塑造出有关南洋的典型意象:花园意象,显现出其南洋视点的复杂性——现实性态度和梦幻性态度的并存。与之前的南洋叙事相比,老舍自觉超越传统和西方影响,建构出了一种不同于远古神话话语也不同于西方霸权话语的个性话语方式,贯彻着可贵的修正意识,意味着现代中国作家对新的异域话语方式的探索。By using the fairy-tale discourse in his The Birthday of Xiao-Po, Lao-she integrated tourist curiosity with romantic imagination and created the garden as a typical image of Nan Yang, which diaplayed his complicated attitude of Nan Yang with both a sense of reality and a sense of illusion. Compared with other narratives of Nan Yang, it self-consciously transcends traditional and western influences, and constructs a discourse different from both ancient mythology and western hegemony. It showed a valuable consciousness of revision, which signifies modern Chinese writers' investigation into a new foreign discourse.
