摘　　要：从分析植物名称入手,探讨植物的命名方法及植物名称由来,以便对其更好的认知、了解和应用。通过查阅并整理本草书籍、专著、文献和其他资料,进行分析和整理。归纳药用植物的名称可以反映其形态、特性、功效、产地、气味和生境,或来源于谐音、传说或为纪念某些人等。药用植物的名称由来分析有助于直观、深刻的掌握药用植物或药材特性。对中药学和药学学科"药用植物学"、"药用植物学与药学"、"中药鉴定学"、"中药学"和"临床中药学"等专业课的教学与相关领域研究具有重要参考价值,对中药产业现代化发展具有一定启示作用。Study on the origin of plant name and its classification will contribute to the understanding, application and utilization of medicinal plants and Chinese material medicine. A variety of textual and classified research on material medicine literature, monographs, literature and other information were consulted. We summarized that the name of traditional Chinese medicine plant was closely correlated with its morphological or some other characteristics, e. g. efficacy, flavor, product area, habitats or the name derived from homonym, legend or to commemorate someone. The study on the traceability and characters analysis has intuitive benefit in understanding the characters of medicine plants and/or Chinese material medicine, which has an important inspiration and reference function to promote the teaching and researching of the main specialized basis courses of traditional Chinese pharmacal speciality, i. e. Pharmaceutical Botany, Pharmaceutical Botany and Pharmacognosy, Chinese Medicine Identification, Chinese Material Medicine and Clinical Chinese Pharmacy.
