Effects of Garlic Root Aqueous Extracts on the Growth and Photosynthetic Characteristics of Watermelon in Continuous Cropping Soil

摘  要:以小型西瓜品种红宝石为试验材料,盆栽于连作与非连作土中,采用6个不同质量浓度的大蒜根系浸提液处理连作西瓜,通过测定不同处理下连作西瓜植株生长、叶片光合气体交换及叶绿素荧光参数,以探讨大蒜根系浸提液对西瓜连作障碍的作用。结果表明,连作导致西瓜植株叶片净光合速率(Pn)下降,生长受到抑制。而施浇低质量浓度(5、8、10和20g/L)大蒜根系浸提液可通过提高光合能力及PSⅡ的光合活性,降低光损伤和使光能分配趋于合理,从而有效缓解连作对西瓜植株生长的抑制,其中尤以5g/L质量浓度处理对西瓜生长的效果最好。而高质量浓度(30和40g/L)的大蒜根系浸提液抑制连作西瓜植株的生长。In order to effectively address the effects of garlic root aqueous extracts on the growth and photosynthetic characteristics of watermelon in continuous cropping soil,a small-fruit watermelon varieties‘Ruby'was used as test materials,potted in continuous cropping and non-continuous cropping soil,six different concentration treatments of garlic root aqueous extracts were applied to watermelon in continuous cropping soil.The growth of watermelon,photosynthetic gas exchange and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters of watermelon leaves were measured at different treatment times.The results showed that continuous cropping decreased net photosynthesis rate(Pn)of watermelon leaves and inhibited the growth of watermelon.While the application of garlic root aqueous extracts at 5,8,10and 20g/L can effectively alleviate the inhibition effects of continuous cropping on growth of watermelon by increasing photosynthetic capacity of watermelon leaves and photosynthetic activity of PSⅡ,reducing photo damage and making energy distribution of PSⅡ more reasonable.But the application of garlic root aqueous extracts at 30and 40g/L further improved the inhibitory effects of continuous cropping on the growth of watermelon plants.
