摘　　要：随着经济全球化进程的不断深化,在我国已经加入世贸组织以及中国经济进一步发展的社会大背景条件下,城市竞争力显得特别重要。提高城市竞争力已经逐渐发展成为我国大多数城市非常响亮的战略口号,因此它成为当代城市研究中的一个非常热门的话题。以鄂豫陕渝地区为例,阐述现代城市竞争力的统计评价及其具体的提升对策,旨在为该地区城市的发展提供一定的借鉴与参考。With the deepening of economic globalization, China＇ s entry into WTO and the further development of China＇s economy, urban competitiveness has been especially important. Improving urban competitiveness has gradually become the strategic slogan of many ctties, which has become the focus of the government and the scholars. This study focuses on the statistical evaluation of modern city competitiveness and the improving measures of Hubei, Henan, Shaanxi, Chongqing, as to provide a reference for the city development.
