Simultaneous interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) liner based on hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene, methyl methacrylate and ethyl acrylate were prepared using isophorone diisocyanate as curing agents. The curing reaction kinetics were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry(D S C),and the curing kinetic parameters were obtained by Kissinger extremum method and Crane method.Furthermore, the curing reaction rate and influence factors of viscosity growth rate were studied by fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR) and rheometer respectively. The results showed that when the ratio of PU to P(MMA-EA) came to 1 ∶ 1,the curing reaction apparent activation energy of IPN liner reduced, while the reaction rate accelerated accordingly with an 1.065-order reaction all the time.The-NCO consumption rate was strongly related with the reaction temperature and the content of acrylate. The results also revealed the greatly mutual influence of reaction temperature, curing parameters, crosslinking parameters and hard segment content on the viscosity growth rate.
