摘 要:以广西北海高岭土为研究对象,采用X射线衍射、扫描电子显微镜、X射线荧光光谱仪等手段对北海高岭土进行系统的矿物学研究,包括化学组成、形貌和物相组成等。对其Φ50 mm水力旋流器溢流及底流产品进行高岭土除铁增白试验研究。采用"擦洗筛分-高梯度磁选"工艺,得到最佳磁选条件为:磁感应强度1.4 T,矿浆流速0.8 cm/s,浆料质量分数15%。磁选高岭土产品1180℃烧成白度可由72.9%提高到90.4%,Fe2O3由0.99%降低到0.40%,铁去除率达59.6%,可以满足橡塑填料和高档陶瓷等领域的应用要求。The kaolin from Beihai was determined as the object of study. The chemical composition, morphology and phase composition of Beihai kaolin was measured by XRD, SEM, XRF, and so on. The iron removal and whitening experiments of overflow and underflow product of Ф50 mm hydrocyclone were studied. The technological process was scrub screening first and then magnetic separation. The best conditions of magnetic separation were: magnetic field intensity was 1.4 T, slurry flow velocity was 0.8 cm/s, solid content of slurry was 15%. The calcined whiteness at 1180 ℃ of magnetic kaolin product increased from 72.9% to 90.4%, Fe2O3 decreased from 0.99% to 0.40%, the removal rate of Fe was 59.6%. The kaolin production of magnetic separation can satisfy the requirements of some fields such as tubber andplastic and ceramic filings.
