摘　　要：池莉小说是当代"新市民"小说的代表性文本。通过对"新市民"小说这一概念的阐述,论述池莉"新市民"小说的发展过程、创作理念和基本风貌。利用看似平常却很传奇的故事慰藉"新市民"日益萎缩的精神世界,寻找他们在喧嚣生活中生存的价值和意义,这是池莉"新市民"小说的宗旨所在。Chi Li＇s novels are an epitome of ＂new townspeople＂ fiction writing. In her works she tends to use the ordinary urban legends to seek the value and meaning of human existence in modern hustle and bustle and provide comfort for the new townspeople, whose spiritual world keeps diminishing. This article, based on the concept of ＂new townspeople＂ fiction, expounds on the development, creation concept and stylistic characteristics of Chi Li＇s novels.
