摘　　要：在中医诊断学教材中,对缓脉的特征及临床意义的描述,存在着一个脉名多个含义的的现象,使学生学习起来难以理解。分析原因主要与一字多义有关。那么临床医生在实际切脉诊病时又是如何理解和应用缓脉的?对30位中医专家访谈的访谈结果进行了整理、分析,其结果可为进一步澄清、规范缓脉的概念、表现特征及临床意义提供一定基础。The descriptions about the characteristics and clinical significances of the moderate pulse in the text book of diagnostics of traditional Chinese medicine（TCM） for university level students, the following phenomenon has existed： one kind of pulse name possesses multiple definitions or meanings. It causes learning biases toward individual interests throughout the history of TCM. The connotation of the moderate pulse should clear and not result in confusion to the students. The root cause could be associated with the Chinese word ＂moderate＂, there are multiple meanings in this particular word. What has the moderate pulse been understood and used by clinical doctors while they did the pulse taking in hospital clinical environments？ This article is an analysis and report on the interviews of collective 30 contemporary TCM experts. The results could be used to identify and clarify the best use of the moderate pulse and therefore it will provide more firm foundation for the characteristics and clinical significances of the moderate pulse.
