摘　　要：新材料产业是山西省确定的重点培育和发展的"7+2"战略新兴产业之一,也是山西省综改试验区推进的重要内容。采用SWOT分析法,对山西省新材料产业发展的优势、劣势、机遇和挑战进行了深入剖析,并在此基础上建立了产业发展的战略矩阵,从支持平台建设、加快市场培育等方面入手,提出加速新材料科研成果转化、培植本土产业链、创新新材料产业发展机制、打造产业发展创新人才队伍等促进山西省新材料产业跨越发展的建议。New material industry is not only one of the ＂7＋2＂ strategic emerging industries that Shanxi Province determined to focus on cultiva- ting and developing, but also the important content of promoting Shanxi comprehensive reform pilot area. By means of SWOT analysis, compre- hensively analyzes the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of new material industry development in Shanxi Province, then establishes industry development strategy matrix, researches from supporting platform construction and speeding up the cultivation of market, puts forward suggestions of accelerating the transformation of scientific research achievements, cultivating local industry chain, innovating development mechanism, building industry innovation talented person troop, etc to promote the development of new material industry in Shanxi Province.
