摘　　要：性别差异在语言使用中的体现一直是语言学界关注和探讨的一个重要话题。本文着眼于英语语言中存在的性别差异特点,通过分析男性用语与女性用语在词汇、句法、风格等方面的存在的不同,探讨语言使用与性别差异的关系和形成这些差异的原因,以期促进两性交流中的交际和谐。Gender issues have long become entangled with issues of language. Recent researches indicate that gen- der may be more fundamental as an influence on sociollnguistic variation than has been recognized so far. This article will try to discuss the different language uses between men and women and point out the different gender characteristics in Eng- lish language use in the hope for a further understanding and exploration of the relationship between gender differences and language use.
