摘　　要：罗马海外殖民地出现于罗马向地中海扩张的大征服时代。海外殖民地的建立带动了罗马海外道路系统的开发,促使罗马公民权向地中海地区扩展。同时,帮助罗马文化教育向各地渗透。遍布地中海世界的罗马殖民地成为罗马文明传播的平台,也为罗马文明与其他文明的交流与融合提供了场所,推动了地中海世界的罗马化进程。Roman overseas colonies first appeared in the second century BC,when Rome began her expansive conquest into the Mediterranean world. The establishment of Roman overseas colonies had an intimate relationship with the development of the system of Roman roads outside Italy, meanwhile, the broadcasting of Roman citizenship in the Mediterranean world undergone gradually,and also the cultural education of Rome. These colonies around the Mediterranean Sea became the platform for spreading Roman civilization,at the same time provided a place for the communication and mixture of Roman civilization and other civilizations,and thus promoting the process of Romanization in the Mediterranean world.
