摘　　要：温家宝同志在和湖南大学毕业生座谈的重要讲话,标志着新时期高校辅导员的工作任务和内容被赋予了新的内涵。随着教育对象和教育内容的不断变化,辅导员在思想政治教育工作中的角色定位也在向多元化方向发展。新时期的辅导员要担当称职的教育者、管理者和服务者,要做学生信赖的知心朋友,要做学生信服的人生导师。Prime Minister Wen Jiabao gave a keynote speech in Hunan University graduate symposium, which marks the tasks and content of university counselors have been given a new connotation in the new period. Along with the changes of the education subject and education content, the role definition of counselors in the ideological and political education work is also developing towards diversification. University counselors in the new period must act as a qualified educator, administrator and server, and function as a trustworthy bosom friend with students, as well as a life tutor that deserves students＇ respect.
