摘 要:本文探讨了语言相似性对L3英语单词语音解码和单词学习的影响。被试为15个中等水平的中国日语学习者和16个中国德/法语L2学习者。他们首先参加了两类英语假词的命名实验(规则和不规则拼写词),然后接受成对联想学习任务和两项回忆任务测试。结果显示,德/法语L2学习者在命名任务中的反应时和准确率均高于日语学习者,他们在回忆任务中的成绩也显著高于日语学习者。这表明二语和三语的语言相似性会影响L3语音解码和单词学习;当L2与L3相似程度较高时,L2语音知识会促进L3的语音解码准确率,进而促进词汇习得。This study examines the influence of similarities between L2 and L3 on decoding and thus on lexical acquisition of English as an L3.The participants were 15 intermediate Chinese learners of Japanese and 16 Chinese learners of German/French.They first participated in a naming experiment of some English pseudo-words(including regular and irregular ones) and then finished paired association learning task and two recall tasks.The results are as follows:in the naming task,the reaction time(RT) and accuracy of the German/French group are higher than those of the Japanese group;in the recall task,the performance of German/French group is better than that of the Japanese group.Therefore,it is suggested that similarities between L2 and L3 have an effect on L3 phonetic decoding and word learning.When they are more similar,relevant phonetic knowledge in L2 would facilitate decoding and lexical acquisition.
