摘　　要：大规模网络开放课程(Massively Open Online Course,MOOC)为学习者提供了一种新的知识获取渠道和学习模式,成为网络时代人们学习的新途径,正在对高等教育产生巨大的影响。本文对MOOC的发展进行了简单的概述,讲述了MOOC的发展历史以及目前国际上MOOC的3大主流机构Coursera、Udacity和EdX的特点,介绍了MOOC在国内的应用和发展以及MOOC给传统教育带来的机遇和挑战,以期对高校大规模开放在线课程提供一些参考与建议。MOOC （ Massively Open Online Course ） provides students a new channel to acquire knowledge and a new pattern to learn .It becomes popular learning method in internet times and brings big impact to college education .This paper introduces the development of MOOC and presents MOOC history and characters of the most major MOOC organizations-Coursera , Udacity and EdX .The paper also summaries the development of MOOC in China and the opportunity and challenge to traditional education , and also gives some suggestion to colleges on opening online courses .
