摘　　要：小说主人公身份迷失在话语象似性的诸多层面(词汇象似性、句法象似性和语用象似性)上均有所体现。分析表明,从语言学视角展开文学文本诠释不但可以为文学文本批评提供夯实的语言学指导与佐证,而且证明借助实证性的语言分析方法探讨文学主题的路向具有充分的现实可行性。The paper attempts to nail down the iconic representation of identity loss in the novel The Invisible Man. The following findings are arrived at ： the identity loss of the hero in the novel is manifested in more than one level of linguistic ieo- nicity （ lexical iconieity, syntactic ieonicity and pragmatic iconicity） ; the linguistic interpretation of literary texts not only can shed light on literary criticism under the linguistic facts and guidance, but also proves the practicality of empirical analysis of literary themes with the help of linguistic methodologies.
