摘　　要：大学的每一次变革表明大学不是独立于社会之外,而是社会的一个重要组成部分。在构建社会和大学的新型关系中,社会资源参与大学治理是评价大学治理能力的重要指标,体现了大学治理的新内涵,是建设中国特色现代大学制度的关键。从产学研合作、大学董事会、大学联盟和中介组织的评估等方面分析中国大学治理社会参与存在的问题,通过比较和借鉴国际大学治理社会参与的经验,可望构建社会参与高校治理的路径:高等学校积极吸取社会力量参与管理,建立中国特色的教育评估中介组织,加强与行业产业的紧密联系等。The transformations of universities in history show that university systems are not isolated from the society, but a very important part of society. Therefore, social participation in university governance is the key in building modern university with Chinese characteristics. In building the new relationships between universities and societies, the abilities of absorbing social recourses in governing universities are very important indicators which also reflect the new contents of governing universities in Chinese situations. This paper analyzed the problems of social participation in university governance from the aspects of industry-government-university cooperation and university unions and university board and intermediary organizations. The paper finally tried to build approaches of social participation in university governance by analyzing and comparing experiences of international universities. First, colleges and universities should actively absorb social recourses to manage universities; secondly, educational assessment organizations should be set up for evaluating universities and at last universities should strengthen close ties with industries.
