摘　　要：当代旅游活动的发展态势，使旅游业面临着一系列新的问题，旅游地质是在不断探索和解决这些问题的过程中逐渐形成并日趋完善的一门地质学的新型学科．作者较系统地阐述了旅游地质的研究对象和研究内容，并对湖南省地质遗迹景观作了分类，同时还提出了旅游地质为湖南经济建设服务的具体措施和关于加强旅游地质工作的建议。The tourism faces a series of new questions as todays development of visiting autivities. Touring geology is a new-type subject about geology which is formed gradually in discussing and resolving the problems. The author elabrated the objects and contents of touring geology study in a systematic way, and classified the landscape of geological traces in Hunan, In addation, the author showed the concrete mearures for Hunan economic construction and the suggestions for the study of touring geology.
