摘　　要：从中世纪晚期至近代早期,英国各地都有自己约定俗成的赡养传统。虽然赡养需求的产生有多种情况,但一般都以契约形式将赡养的内容条款和数额明确下来。这样既可以确保受赡养者的权利,也易于解决赡养纠纷。比起单纯依靠血缘亲情和社会道德舆论监督,这一作法能更有效力地保障老人受赡养的权利。During the late middle ages to the early modern period, there were traditions of parental support around the England country. Although there were a variety of support needs of situation, generally, people would make the content of the terms and amount clearly in the form of contract. It can safeguard the rights of dependents, also be easy to solve the disputes. Contrast to the methods that relied on blood kinship and social moral supervision by public opinion, this approach can be more effective to the protection of the rights of the old man on the support.
