摘　　要：在尼泊尔第二届制宪议会选举中,原尼泊尔第一大党——尼联共(毛)遭遇惨败,沦为第三大党。执政业绩乏善可陈、竞选策略失当、党内腐败严重是尼联共(毛)败选的直接原因;淡化共产党特色和性质是尼联共(毛)败选的根本原因;而印度、美国因素也对尼联共(毛)败选的产生了重要影响。能否处理好保持党的特色与推进党的转型的关系,是尼联共(毛)摆脱当前困境的关键。UCPN（Maoist）which was the largest party in the 2008 CA-I elections has come third in 2013 CA-II elections. Poor ruling performance, improper campaign strategy and the serious corruption in the party directly resulted in the humiliating defeat. Playing down the Communist characteristics and nature is the root cause for the setback of UCPN（Maoist）. India and America also exert important influences on UCPN（Maoist）＇loss. It＇s the only way to get over the present predicament to make sure of handling the relations between keeping the characteristics of the communist party and promoting the party＇s transformation correctly.
