摘　　要：黎世序是嘉道时期治河名臣。在担任江南河道总督期间,他力主修缮黄河堤防,加固两岸险工,推广碎石坦坡护堤技术,积极整饬河工弊政,使黄河治理出现了新局面。他的治绩得到了官方和民间的广泛认同。这种局面的出现与其自身能力、两江总督的配合、幕僚的辅佐、皇帝的支持密切相关。其治河经历充分表明,治河是一项复杂的系统工程,受到多种因素的影响。LI Shixu was a famous official on the river conservancy during the late Qing Dynasty. He overhauled and consolidated the banks of the Yellow River, explored new methods, and applied the technology of the rock-mound breakwater to harness the Yellow River. Meanwhile, he still wanted to rectify the corruption in this field, which had brought fresh air to the river conservancy. The success he achieved had been closely associated with his own ability, with the support of the emperor, the viceroy of Liangjiang and his own staff. His experience showed that, with the influence of many factors, the river conservancy was very complicated.
