摘　　要：外文期刊是高校重点学科建设的重要文献依据和保障,然而长期以来,外文期刊得不到有效利用,加之其售价之高,使得高校图书馆在外文期刊的馆藏上不得不对现有馆藏进行调整。文章从改善外文期刊利用率低下的措施和构建合理馆藏的措施两方面,阐述了高校图书馆在重点学科建设中如何更好地提供信息服务。Foreign periodicals are the important literature basis and guarantee of key discipline construction in universities. However, inefficient use and high price of foreign periodicals have forced university libraries to carry on adjustment of foreign periodical collection. From two aspects covering measures for improving the low utilization of foreign periodicals and constructing reasonable collection, this article expounded how university libraries to provide better information service in key discipline construction.
