摘　　要：春秋吴国一度成为长江下游的强大国家,从城建角度可以看到江苏的中心城市南京、苏州、扬州以及常州、浙江绍兴城这几座城市的最初兴建,皆发轫于春秋吴国的历史事实,说明吴国对江南城市的发展贡献甚伟。During the Spring and Autumn Period, Kingdom Wu was a powerful country in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Historical facts showed that the initial development of such key cities as Nanjing, Suzhou, Yangzhou and Changzhou in Jiangsu Province and Shaoxing in Zhejiang Province all started in Kingdom Wu, which demonstrated the country＇s great contributions to the city development in the Southern Yangtze River Regions.
