中国留学生对西方汉学的贡献--以20世纪上半期为中心的考察

摘　　要：20世纪上半期,在西方汉学亟须发展的态势下,中国留学生在海外勉力承担汉语与中国文化教学任务,为各国汉学家充当助手,提供中译外的中国典籍翻译帮助,助力各国汉学的中文文献资料建设,撰写中国题材的学术学位论文,为西方汉学的进步与发展做出了重要贡献。其所做工作,已成为西方汉学不可分割的组成部分,也成为近代中西文化关系史上的盛事美谈。Since the first half of 20th century,with sinology study being in urgent need of further development,Chinese students studying abroad devoted themselves to teaching Chinese and disseminate Chinese traditional culture.They also worked as assistants for many sinologists,supplying help for translating Chinese classic books into other languages and building the Chinese literature resources in many countries.Besides,they wrote dissertations and theses about Chinese subjects,making significant contributions to the development of Western Sinology.All the work they did has become an indispensable part of Western Sinology,which had been renowned events in the history of cultural exchanges between China and western world.
