摘　　要：海明威的作品《白象似的群山》文字简短,简单的场景,两三个人物的对话。本文尝试依据视点差异理论,从人物视野﹑心理诉求和语用策略等方面建构有关男女双方不同的视点所产生的心理空间错位的认知解读,感受男女双方视点差异中所蕴含的深刻矛盾。而视点差异所营造的悬念和冲突正是海明威"冰山理论"的运用。Hills Like White Elephants by Hemingway is featured by simple settings and short dialogues between characters, nevertheless, these simple settings and dialogues intrigue the readers＇ imagination. Based on the theory of point of view, this paper analyzes the text from the difference in the characters＇ vision, psychological appeal and pragmatic strategy. By constructing a cognitive study of point of view, this paper intends to sort out a new approach in interpreting the literary texts. The suspense and conflict resulting from the difference in point of view of the protagonists are indeed the application of ＂iceberg theory＂ by Hemingway.
