摘　　要：阐述圆柱齿轮根切的概念及避免根切的方法,给出用范成法加工时齿条形刀具和齿轮形刀具不发生根切的最少齿数,并分析重合度对最少齿数的影响,得出两种情况下的最少齿数.This paper expounds the concept of cylindrical gear root cutting as well as the method of avoiding root cutting and proposes the minimum gear teeth needed in generating cutting processing with rack cutter and gear profile cutting tools to avoid root cutting. It also analyzes the influence of contact ratio on the minimum of the teeth. It finally proposes the minimum teeth needed in both cases above.
