摘　　要：从编辑工作实际出发,认为学术期刊编辑应善为人师。为人师者,首先应"先正其身":加强职业道德修养,努力提高编辑业务能力,并坚持不断学习专业理论;应德善躬行:培养青年作者严谨的治学精神,帮助青年作者提高写作技能和投稿技巧;更要诲人不倦:对作者耐心答疑解惑,有教无类,做到"退稿不退人";还要做到"润物无声":不求名,不求利,默默奉献。In terms of the practice of editing work, the editors of academic journals should be good teachers. As a teacher, firstly, editors should perform well in himself from the following aspects. They should strengthen their professional ethics, strive to improve their editing abilities, and keep on learning professional theories. Secondly, editors should personally practice virtues and kindness. They must cultivate young authors＇ rigorous academic spirit, and help them improve their writing skills and contribution skills. What＇s more important is that editors should never feel tired of giving instructions to others. They should answer authors＂ questions patiently, make no social distinctions in teaching and respect author＇s work. Lastly, as a teacher, editors should also be silent to dedicate themselves, instead of seeking fame and benefit.
