摘 要:本试验目的是研究去势对12~18月龄皖南牛血液睾酮含量、生长性能和外貌特征的影响。选择12头12月龄体重与体尺相近的皖南牛随机分为2组,每组6头,一组进行去势处理,另一组未进行去势处理。结果表明:去势极显著减低了12~18月龄皖南牛血液睾酮含量的平均值(P0.05),2组间的差异主要是在去势后3个月引起的;去势显著降低了12~18月龄月增加体斜长的平均值(P0.05)。结果提示,去势能降低皖南牛血液睾酮含量,短期内抑制皖南牛的体重与体尺增加,影响皖南牛的外貌特征,特别是颈部和前1/4躯干部位肌肉的发育。The purpose of this experiment was to study the effects of castration on blood testosterone content, growth performance and appearance characteristics of Wannan cattle aged from 12 to 18 months. Twelve Wannan cattle aged 12 months with similar body weight and body size were selected and assigned to 2 groups with 6 heads in each group. Cattle in one group were castrated, while those in the other group were not castrated. The results showed as follows: castration significantly reduced the average content of blood testosterone of Wannan cattle aged from 12 to 18 months (P0.05), and the difference occurred in the first three months after castration; castration significantly reduced the average value of body length increased per month at 12 to 18 months of age (P0.05). It is concluded that castration can down-regulate blood testosterone content, inhibited the growth of the body sizes shortly after castration, and changed the appearance characteristics of Wannan cattle, especially the development of muscle of neck and front 1/4 of trunk.
