摘　　要：在总结韩礼德关于主位述位的理论基础上,通过分析2013年6月份高职高专英语应用能力测试中的一篇阅读理解,分析主位-述位结构在英语阅读中的应用,探讨韩礼德的主述位理论对整体上构建、理解英语文章有着重要意义。On the basis of summarizing Halliday＇s Systemic Functional Linguistics,this paper analysis one of the reading comprehension of Practical English Test for College in June 2013. It shows the application of theme-rheme structure in the reading comprehension,and discusses the significance of Halliday＇s theme-rheme theory for building and understanding English passage as a whole.
