摘　　要：近代英国的国债和纸币在促进经济发展的同时导致税收加重和通货膨胀等问题,激进派威廉·科贝特抨击了政府国债政策对普通民众的侵害,提出了解决国债问题的一系列主张。科贝特的批判指出了国债潜在的危害,为后人解决同类问题提供了重要依据。In the modern British history,national debt and paper-money played an important part in economic development,but they caused increase in taxation and inflation as well.Radical Cobbett criticized the government′s policy in the national debt and put forward a series of proposals.Cobbett pointed out the potential harm of the debt and laid basis of solution for similar issues in the future.
