摘　　要：非洲作家多数视生态文学与生态批评为又一种白人霸权话语。贾克斯·穆达逆流而作,小说《赤红的心》讲述了"文化人"卡玛古乡土归属、历史传承和情感婚恋三个选择以及科萨族人民殖民时代与后殖民时代歧路维艰时抉择的智慧。现代人的出路在哪里?卡玛古的答案是:自然与文化结盟的生态模式。To most African critics and writers, what ecoliterature and ecocriticism offer appears as one more hegemonic discourse from the metropolitan West. Zakes Mda, however, embraces the green approaches to literature and literary criticism and narrates in his The Heart of Redness primarily three choices of Camagu, ＂an educated man＂ all the way from America： his choices of home and country, of tradition and history, and of love and marriage. And the text highlights the amaXhosa people＇s wisdom of choice especially when they are in dilemmas in both the past colonial period and the present postcolonial era. Where is the way out for the amaXhosa people under the neo-exploitation of foreign capital. Camagu s answer and choice is a plan of sustainable heritage ecotourism, a fusing mode of nature and culture.
