摘　　要：大宗交易是国外图书馆采购电子期刊资源的主要方式。因能快速增加图书馆的期刊品种数,曾受到图书馆的欢迎。但因其使图书馆背上沉重的经济负担,限制了图书馆资源采购的自主权,部分图书馆退出了大宗交易。大宗交易的兴衰是由其自身的特点造成的。我国图书馆应从其兴衰历程中汲取教训。The Big Deal is a major way for foreign libraries to buy electronic journals, It was generally welcomed because it could make libraries rapidly expand their serial collection. However, it may also become a heavy financial burden to libraries, and therefore restricts the libraries＇ acquisition. The Big Deal goes up and down with its own characteristics, from which one can learn much.
