摘　　要：《天下》是20世纪上半叶由中国人所办的一份具有广泛国际影响的英文文化期刊,致力向英语世界自主传播儒家学说,摆脱西方传教士译介儒家经典的宗教性解读与理解的宗教色彩,多角度传播、阐释儒家学说,既有中国学者以20世纪心理学为基础对儒家圣人形象的"还原"努力,也有西方学者从中西思想比较入手,对中国儒家学说所做的比较研究,是20世纪下半期儒学研究之先声,推动多元化儒学思想阐释。The World was an influential English journal founded by Chinese in the first half of the 20 th century,devoted to the spread of Confucianism to the English world,which removed the western missionaries＇ religious interpretations of Confucian classics and applied a multi-angle communication and interpretation of Confucianism.In this journal there were Chinese scholars＇ ＂authentic＂reconstruction of Confucian saints based on the 20th century＇s psychology as well as a comparative study on Confucianism from the angle of comparing Chinese and western thoughts.It is argued that the journal contributed to the research on Confucianism in the second half of the 20 th century and the pluralistic interpretations of Confucianism.
