从列维纳斯的“他者性”看《受害者》的伦理意识

摘　　要："他者性"是列维纳斯伦理哲学的核心,列维纳斯的"他者"是绝不能还原为"同一"的"绝对的他者",强调个人的主体性体现在替代他者受难和对他者负有责任,因此,列维纳斯的"他者观"包含着强烈的道德责任感。索尔·贝娄的小说《受害者》中同样体现出一种包容他者,向他者认同,替他者受难和承担对他者的责任的伦理意识,主人公通过伦理受难实现自我救赎的同时,证明了自我存在的价值。'The ethic of the other',a key idea in Emmanuel Levinas' s ethical philosophy,contains a strong sense of moral responsibility. 'The Other'Levinas emphasized refers to 'the absolute alterity( otherness) 'which can be in no way restored to 'the Self'or 'the Same'and Levinas reasserted the subjectivity of the individual by replacement and responsibility. The novel The Victim written by Saul Bellow also demonstrates such kind of ethical awareness as accepting and identifying with the other,suffering for the other and shouldering the responsibility of the other. And through ethical suffering the major character Asa Leventhal achieved his'self- exceeding'and thus fulfilled his self- atonement and self- value.
