摘　　要：对图像检索的过去、现在和未来进行了分析 ,论述了每个阶段的研究特点 ,对基于内容的图像检索的主要研究技术进行详细和全面的论述 ,介绍了典型的基于内容的图像检索系统 .通过综述指出了目前研究中存在的主要问题并指出了今后的研究方向 .In this paper, the past, the present and the future of image retrieval are analyzed, and the main issues at different research phases are also discussed. The key research issues of content based image retrieval are discussed extensively and comprehensively. The typical prototype systems of content based image retrieval are introduced. Based on the survey, some open issues, which need to be researched further, are presented, and the future research trends are also given.
