摘　　要：作为一种史学现象,亚洲新电影的崛起已是不争的事实。虽然有学者较早注意到这股来自东方的新鲜势力,但却很少有人进行深入细致的梳理,进而勾勒出其清晰形貌。从这点来说,周安华教授的《当代电影新势力——亚洲新电影大师研究》一书无疑石破天惊,首次系统而微地将亚洲各国的新锐导演势力及其电影创作实绩进行了形象展览,并以先锋的学术视点、全新的导演序列阐述有力填补了亚洲新电影导演群体和作品研究的空白。该书采用了融宏观文化观照与具体镜像分析,集导演群体勾勒与作品描述于一体的研究方法,具有鲜明的研究实验意味和突出的电影史学价值。全书线索明晰、内容丰富、资料翔实、体式新颖,是近年来亚洲新电影研究的集大成者,代表了亚洲电影研究的新成果。书中凝重的文化和学术思考亦为亚洲电影研究提供了许多有益的探讨平台和理论上升空间,其学术价值和理论意义必将在今后的新电影实践中得以佐证。The rising of new Asian cinema , as a phenomenon of history , has been an indisputable fact .Though some scholars have noticed the new force from the Orient , few has gone as far as to investigate in a deep and careful manner and to draw a clear outline of it .Seen from this perspective , the book The New Force of Contemporary Cinema-the Study on Masters of New Asian Cinema written by Professor Zhou Anhua is undoubtedly ground-breaking , which for the first time systematically and meticulously introduces up-and-coming directors from Asia and their films and therefore fills in the gap of studies in the field .By combining macro cultural observation with specific image analysis and integrating the description of directors as a group with individual works , the book is distinctly experimental and prominently valuable in the history of cinema .It epitomizes studies on new Asian films for the past few years , and marks the freshest achievement in Asian film research .
