摘  要:艾约瑟《官话口语语法》是一本汉语作为第二语言的语法教学课本,从习得角度来看,其基本特征有:以语块为记忆和分析的单位,面向语法意义归纳语块的结构类型;从成人的认知心理和经验结构角度解读汉语词序;注重语法变体和地域变体的教学以增强言语交际技能。艾约瑟作为成功的二语习得者,其《官话口语语法》中的很多地方值得当下汉语语法教学借鉴。A case study of A Grammar of the Chinese Colloquial Language, Commonly Called the Mandarin Dialect written by Joseph Edkins shows that the book has at least the following characteristics: language chunks are used as the basic units, the types of construction were given an analysis from a perspective of the grammatical meaning;Chinese word order was explained from the point of cognitive and experience structures of grown--ups; Grammatical variants were given due attention to enhance the function of speech communication. The achievement in this grammar writing, which was written by Edkins, a successful second language learner himself, can be used for reference to the international grammar teaching of Chinese language.
