基于“众源方式”的词典编纂模式探析——以《在线牛津英语词典》为例

摘　　要："众源方式"是劳动力组织的一种全新模式,即公开呼吁或通过互联网,调动、利用大众的创意和能力,其内核理念可以追溯到19世纪的《牛津英语词典》。回顾大词典的世纪之路,"众源方式"的总体路径和具体实践经过数代词典人反复推究,不断改进,传承至今。当代,《在线牛津英语词典》沿袭了前版一贯的学术理想和编纂目标,并顺应时潮,在众源模式的各个要素如"阅读计划"的正当语源、志愿人员、任务类型、激励机制、质量控制等方面呈现了新的样貌和风气。＂Crowdsourcing＂ is a distributed problem-solving and production model in which solutions are produced from voluntary internet users, also known as the crowd. Its nuclear connotation could be traced to the Oxford English Dictionary in the 19th century. Reviewing the dictionary＇s historical course, the crowdsourced compilation model has been practiced and improved by generations of Oxford lexicographers. Currently, the Oxford English Dictionary Online has inherited its ancestors＇ academic goals and compiling concepts, and is assuming new features and styles in elements of appropriate literature sources, volunteer formation, motivating mechanism and quality control.
