摘  要:采用硅树脂对三嗪系膨胀阻燃剂(IFR)进行表面包覆改性,并通过静态接触角测试对其进行了润湿性能表征。然后将改性前后的IFR分别添加到聚丙烯(PP)中制备了阻燃PP材料,并测试研究了该材料的阻燃性能、力学性能及耐水性。结果表明:当硅树脂的包覆量为5%时,改性IFR的接触角由改性前的0°上升到了151.3°,表现出超疏水性能。与未改性IFR阻燃的PP材料相比,由改性IFR得到的阻燃PP材料,其阻燃性能略有降低,但阻燃剂与聚合物的相容性以及阻燃PP的力学性能有所改善;同时阻燃PP的耐水性能显著提高,其阻燃剂的水抽出率大大降低。当阻燃剂添加量为20%时,未改性IFR阻燃的PP材料,其阻燃剂抽出率为3.71%,且耐水性测试后材料的阻燃性能明显下降;而改性IFR阻燃的PP材料,其阻燃剂抽出率仅为0.38%,且耐水性测试后材料的阻燃性能基本保持不变,表现出优良的耐水性能。The triazine intumescent flame retardant(IFR) was modified with silicone resin by surface coating method, the wettability of the modified IFR was measured by static contact angle(CA) test. The unmodified and modified IFR were added into polypropylene(PP) to prepare flame retardant PP materials, then the flame retardancy, mechanical properties, and water resistance of the materials were investigated. The results show that: when the amount of silicone resin is 5%, the water CA of the modified IFR dramatically increases from 0°(for unmodified IFR) to 151.3°, and the modified IFR exhibits superhydrophobicity. The surface-coated modification of IFR slightly decreases the flame retardancy of PP/IFR system, but improves the compatibility between flame retardant and polymer which results in the enhancement of the mechanical properties of the flame retardant PP materials. Moreover, the surface-coated modification of IFR dramatically decreases the extraction rate of flame retardant and greatly enhances the water resistance of the flame retardant PP. When the IFR content is 20%, the extraction rate of the PP materials which treated with unmodified IFR is 3.71% and the flame retardancy decreases after water resistance test. However, the extraction rate of the PP materials which treated with modified IFR is only 0.38%. The materials still keep excellent flame retardancy after water resistance test, and show good water resistance.
