摘　　要：近年来,旅法温州人以社团为依托,通过游行示威、参与选举、影响舆论等多种形式参与当地政治活动.这些活动缘起于保护华人权益的初衷,却在实践中不自觉地担负起改善华人形象、维护中国尊严等国家责任,成为中国公共外交的重要组成部分.本文通过考察旅法温州人社团政治参与的最新进展,探讨其承担侨务公共外交的作用.In recent years, Wenzhou people residing in France have been engaging in community-based local politics through a variety of ways including demonstration, running for public office, and influencing the public opinion. These activities, originally aimed at protecting the rights of the local Chinese, have unintentionally undertaken the task of enhancing the image of the Chinese and safeguarding China's national dignity, therefore becoming an important component of public diplomacy. This article examines the latest development of Wenzhou Association'spolitical participation in France, and discusses its public diplomacy function in the overseas Chinese affairs.
