摘　　要：新型城镇化是我国现代化的必由之路。通过对新型城镇化有利于扩大内需、转变经济发展方式,有利于调整经济结构、促进产业结构优化升级,有利于破解城乡二元结构、解决"三农",有利于推动城乡区域协调发展、促进社会公平和共同富裕等方面的分析,研究了新型城镇化促进经济社会发展的效应。New urbanization is the only way leading to modernization. The thesis studies the effects on the new urbanization to foster economic and social development by analyzing the advantages of new urbanization ： it is beneficial to expand the domestic demand and transform the way to develop the economy;it is beneficial to improve and upgrade the industrial structure as well as adjust the economic structure;it is beneficial to break the rural and urban structure and solve ＂the three rural issues＂ ;it is beneficial to promote the harmonious development between rural and urban areas, the social fairness and the common prosperity.
