摘　　要：《荆棘鸟》中朱丝婷和《呼唤》中内尔·金罗斯都是由澳大利亚著名女作家考林·麦卡洛在她的家世小说中塑造的人物。通过比较分析,发现了她们在许多方面有着相似之处:她们都是属于生活在父权制的社会里颠覆传统女性形象的女孩,不管是在性格、人生价值观及爱情与婚姻观都与传统女性的形象大相径庭。由此可以看出作家考林·麦卡洛的创作意图:呼吁女性冲出男权文化的樊篱,做一个超越传统,超越自我,追求个性独立的新一代女性。The Thorn Birds and Neil Kinross in The Touch are the characters in the family saga,which are shaped by the famous Australian writer Colleen McCullough. Through comparative analysis, wefound that they are similar in many ways： They belong to the girls in the patriarchal society, they are quitedifferent with the traditional women＇s images including character, life values, love and marriage and soon. Above all, we can found out the writer＇s purpose： She tries to call woman get rid the barriers in thepatriarchal culture, and shake off the traditional barriers, and free from the shackles of ourselves, and tobe an independent woman with the independent personality in the new generation.
