摘　　要：2型糖尿病(type 2 diabetes mellitus,T2DM)是由多种病因引起的以慢性高血糖为特征的代谢紊乱。随着社会经济的发展,人们运动量减少,饮食习惯的改变,肥胖人群的增加,造成糖尿病在发展中国家和发达国家的流行。防治糖尿病,并减少其临床并发症成为今天面临的迫切任务。为探索2型糖尿病实质,更好的预防本病的发生,现对2型糖尿病的中西医病因作以辨析。Type 2 diabetes mellitus （ T2DM ） is a kind of metabolic disorders characterized by chronic hyperglycemia and is caused by a variety of etiology. With the development of social economy, the reduction of exercise, the change of eating habits, overweight and obesity have caused the prevalence of T2DM in developing and developed countries. In the recent decades, the prevention and treatment of T2DM as well as the reduction of the clinical complications has become the urgent medical and social issue. To explore the essence of T2DM and to prevent the occurance of the disease further, we reviewed etiology of T2DM in the Chinese and western medicine.
