摘　　要：良好的生态环境是人和社会持续发展的根本基础。河流涵养植被、调节气候、净化环境、美化景观，而且可以促进生态功能的优化和加强，实现生态环境的良性循环，健康的城市河流，不仅是改善城市生态环境、提升城市形象的关键，而且是促进生态城市建设与城市和谐发展的基础之一。Chengdu is a developed and prosperous city that should be ascribed to its water, and it should base on the requirement of 'firmly encompassing the development of a beautiful China, deepening the systematic reform of ecological civilization and accelerating the founding of the system of ecological civilization' to correctly understand and deal with the dialectic relationship between the river lives and the sustainable development of river basins, wholly plan and settle various problems during the treatment and development of rivers and achieve the sustainable development of the rivers in Chengdu.
