摘　　要：后ＰＣ时代，个人移动电脑将成为一种新的时尚．这是一种集计算、通信和娱乐功能于一体的便携式装置，这对计算机系统的能耗、媒体处理、尺寸提出了新的要求，基于Ｃａｃｈｅ的计算机系统结构无法满足新模式的需要．Ｃａｌｉｆｏｒｎｉａ大学提出的向量智能ＲＡＭ计算机系统结构集成了向量处理和智能ＲＡＭ；能有效地解决这些问题，代表了后ＰＣ时代计算机系统结构的一个新方向。A new personal mobile computing for the post-PC era will be popular for visual computing and communications tasks. The cachebased architectures arc unable to meet the new challenges in energy efficient, multimedia application, and area efficient. A new computer architecture-VIRAM, proposed by California University, could efficiently solve the problems. this is a new direction of computer architecture for the post-PC era.
